Shifa Hospital and Elekta Partnership

Shifa Hospital Group has now expanded its fleet of medical services and will be launching their oncology department after successfully signing with Elekta and agreement for new radiation therapy technology for cancer treatment.
Shifa Hospital - New Cairo will bring more hope to cancer patients by collaborating with Elekta, the market leaders of radiotherapy and cancer care.
Mr. Ahmed El Wahsh , Chief Executive Officer and Director of Strategy of Shifa Hospital Group said “this partnership with Elekta will serve my vision of Shifa Hospital providing the utmost and unparalleled levels of care and treatment to all communities and societies within Egypt and expanding across the borders of Egypt too; to cancer patients a fighting chance“.
Mr. Habib Nehme , Chief Executive Officer of Elekta and the intercontinental region said “All regional teams at Elekta are happy for this partnership with Shifa Hospital Group as it will increase the access to cancer patients in Egypt, This is what achieves the strategic vision of ELEKTA, which is to increase access to ACCESS 2025 radiotherapy devices”
