Rheumatology, immunology and joints

The Department of Rheumatology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, the most famous of which are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, and gout. The Department of Rheumatology also treats human syndromes such as Sjogren's syndrome, polymyalgia rheumatica, and septic arthritis. The Department of Rheumatology also deals with the treatment of some diseases of the bones and joints, including osteoporosis.
